Great episode. I like to read different books on prayer. One of my favorites is by Timothy Keller and in his books he talks a little about someone speaking in tongues as it needs to be a controlled excitement (as if it is gibberish) the book was great but I didn’t agree with part. I do speak in tongues while I’m in my prayer closet and in church. I truly feel it is the Holy Spirit, however his words did plant a seed of doubt in my heart. I’ve had to pray about .. thank you for this episode .. it was an encouragement to me to keep going deeper in the spirit.

In myself, talking to people: the lack of knowledge is truly falling in LOVE with JESUS!!!! That one truth: HE IS AND A REWARDER THEY DELIGENYLY SEEK JESUS... Perfect LOVE cast out all fear...I love JESUS so, I will obey, I will worship, I will seek all TRUTH!! I will worship!!!! I understand nothing shall separate me from Lord's Love!!! Back in 2004, when I first started going to FPC then UPC in Durham I invited my sisters roommate when she had me over for dinner. His immediate response was to tell me that his sister went/used to “they can’t do this, they can’t do that.” Let’s just say I inadvertently ended that conversation in 1.5 seconds flat just by curiously asking “why?”
