More important to me, it allows the phone to cool off through the front and the back of the case. My phone sometimes warms up, either while charging or from CPU load (ie while using the camera). With bumper cases, the phone has a significantly better chance of not overheating.

I bought in their kickstarter back around 10 years ago. They’re great design. Took me through a couple of falls. Accessories like lens protectors are good too. Customer service is fair

I’ve always been a fan of bumper cases and was so happy when I came across this one. I felt like a fool trying to figure out how to put it on, but it took a few minutes of common sense and I finally got it 😂. I have a gold phone and the lavender color bumper. It has a nice matte look and feel and is really comfortable to hold - especially on my right pinky where the phone sits when I’m using it. The buttons are nice and clicky. I doubt I’ll ever get different trim colors but it’s a nice idea. Thanks for this review! So far I’m glad to have a bumper case again and am really happy with this one!

I had this bumper for my iPhone 7 back in the day for 2 years. It was good as new when I sold it, I’m happy they’re still doing them, gonna buy this soon 🤘

I like how the buttons aren't molded into the case like they are on my cheap silicon case. On the other hand that cheap case has protected my 6S Plus since, like, forever, so I shouldn't complain too much.

I’ve used a Rhinoshield bumper (without the back plate) on my XS and 13 Mini. I had a Berry Red one on my XS, but they don’t do that colour any more. Got a black one on my Product Red 13 Mini, and use it with a MagSafe grip and wrist strap. Really wish they’d bring back Berry Red!

I definitely feel better when the case protects the camera lenses. That case looks good. A nice price and a good choice of colors.

I’ve had a rhino shield bumper for an iPhone 8 and an iPhone 13. When recording video with both, I get a really prominent rubbing noise whenever I move my fingers. Other than that, the case is perfect. I’m really tired of noisy video recording though so I’m on the look out for a different bumper style case. They are pretty rare on modern iPhones though.

Had one for the passed few years on my past iPhones 8-12. Picked up the 13 pro half year ago. Might as well continue the tradition lol

I had one for my first smartphone. bumper cases feel so good to hold and protect you phones from most falls. I destroyed my phone by slamming my car door in it, so sadly bumper cases won't protect it from that

Hey man, nice video, I liked it a lot. Personally I don’t love bumper cases, because if the phone falls in an “inconvenient” angle there could be some trouble. And also it doesn’t protect the back glass from scratches, especially in tight places like pockets with keys. I guess that’s part of the tradeoff that you make when you decide you want to experience the phone’s design the way Apple (or any other brand) intended. Keep up the great work!

Rhino shield cases have always lacked grip. They apparently don’t listen to complaints on Amazon. They still make their cases with zero grip. Too bad too cuz they make sturdy cases.

The bumper for 4 and 5 was so beautiful. Hated that the curved 6 wouldn't allow for that. And now I might be able to get it again, but because of the huge camera it doesn't look as good. But I do want it to protect the camera. Hate that the logo is on there though. Damn I wanted orange to match my lockscreen and one of my favorite colors, but black will be nice to have a black and white theme going, that's my wallpaper colors anyway. Wish it didn't have those strap holes though. The raised back will also allow for a better hold, and like another comment said, good for heat mitigation. But saying you think you dropped it because it's not as grippy is concerning. And it's a bit expensive.

I really liked the one I had for my 14 Pro Max and the 15 Pro Max one actually feels a lot different, but I‘d consider it to be even better, but because I‘m planning to get a small 15 Pro as well I‘d like to know if the magsafe accessories like the official wallet or the charger still fit inside the 6.1“ case. With the Pro Max bumper on there’s already not too much space especially with the wallet and if it doesn’t fit inside the bumper like it does with the Pro Max this could be a dealbreaker for me to get a regular case instead

Nah. Too slippery for me. I had to add anti-slip strips on it.
