Sheldon sucks at clapping back. He only uses the most obvious and lame insults to clap back with, such as Howard lack of PhD and chosen profession.

Howard is the guy that insults EVERYONE but then starts crying when anyone dares to insult him on anything, no matter how small or meaningless.

Howard constantly makes fun of Sheldon, even to the extreme like the examples in this video. He even made fun of Sheldon's entire character by dressing up as him for Halloween in another season.

Compared to that, Sheldon's insults was nothing. They were mere words that had no real consequence.

It's just that when Howard makes fun of Sheldon it gets very easily overlooked because of who Sheldon is so no one even notices it.

If you don't wanna be made fun of, DON'T MAKE FUN OF PEOPLE.

What Howard did to Sheldon’s slides could have got Sheldon fired or worse. Messing with someone’s livelihood isn’t a joke. I’m glad he rained hell on Howard through all seasons. While others didn’t deserve Sheldon’s narcissistic quirks, Howard certainly did. Not to mention the character is nasty. The only reason he became better was because Bernadette gave him a chance. If she hadn’t, he would have remained nasty.
