Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan opened the world's longest suspension bridge over the Dardanelles strait in northwestern Turkey. The bridge reduces travel time between Asia and Europe to six minutes. With a 2,023-meter (6,637 feet) span between its towers, the "1915 Canakkale Bridge" is now the world's longest suspension bridge. Costing 2.5 billion euros ($2.76 billion), it will generate 5.3 billion euros in economic output, create 118,000 jobs and generate 2.4 billion euros in revenue for Turkey. The bridge is expected to facilitate 3.5 million vehicles annually.

Wow, South Korea is killing it with construction projects. From Burj Khalifa, marina bay sands, petronas towers, taipei 101, and now this, the worlds longest bridge.

I am Turk and we know it was south Korea that helped the build of the bridge. Even South Korean flags were there. Some said Chinese company but I don't know about it. Can anyone send me a link ? We know it as a Turkish-Korean partnership ( mainly, other countries such as Australia contributed as well but it is side work mostly)

This bridge is to contract Turkish and S.Korean companies together as joint ventures; however, financial service or investments may come many different financing companies it's the two companies that in charge and delivery to services and they are rightfully own to operate next 15 or 20 years to pay back the loans and make profit and maintain after they will surrender all the rights and operations to Turkish authorities or they may go for new bits for term contract they will pay Government of the Turkey for contract fees
