Would You Walk the World’s Longest Suspension Bridge?

Hanging high above any semblance of land is the world’s longest suspension bridge, located in Portugal. It opened up to reservations on Sunday, so the public can take a stroll and take in incredible views. If you plan on visiting, consider one anonymous visitor's advice to not look down while crossing. "You should look ahead, nothing will happen," they said. Inside Edition Digital’s Stephanie Officer has the details. #InsideEdition

Think of the person who had to walk across this to make sure it's safe right after it was built

Looks safe to be honest. I'm afraid of heights but would not be scared of it

Much respect to the people who built this bridge. They’re the real brave ones.

My nan tells me that when she used to go to elementary, she had to cross over a river by a suspension bridge. This bridge was 70 feet above the river. She says that some boys would always get on either side of the bridge and start swinging it to scare the people trying to cross

I've walked over this bridge and I was absolutely PETRIFIED. I literally cried from terror! I had come all this way and bought the ticket and everything, so I forced myself to cross it. And then I had to cross again to return to the van. It moves around A LOT when you're on it. It was highlight of our trip to Portugal and I would absolutely do it again.

0:51 I think this part of the video is in reverse. The waterfall seems to be flowing upward meaning that the camera actually pans from right to left but they reversed it to pan from left to right to show the waterfall.

This is like in cartoons where the villain comes with scissors and cuts the cables and laughs evilly as everyone falls

I have already walked it (I have family living in Alvarenga which is next to it)
It is an amazing walk because it comes straight from the boardwalks next to the river.
The area in general is amazing for trekking.
