Cool project, and exceptionally well-made video. You and you mom make a great team 😊

I’m not so sure I like the way the texture from the vinyl looks, though. It seems much too exaggerated because of the indentations from the pebbles on top, reminding me much more of a tufted mattress than water 😂

There was one point at which there were just light horizontal ripples over the lower parts of the “water” that I think would have been a better place to stop, but of course preferences will differ.

What might one use to hold the vinyl sheet in place if a less pronounced texture were desired, though?

I’m very new to resin work, and have never even heard of this cool vinyl, so I have many questions.
