Man, it's refreshing to see a how-to video that's to-the-point, contains all necessary information, well shot, and even has chapter markers to boot.

I'm the manager of a store that sells and repairs watches. Changing a strap is literally the first thing I learned to do and I've done it hundreds of times in my 8 years.

This video perfectly shows everything we do.

One quick note though. If the strap is too narrow for the lugs, that extra shifting back and forth can pull out the spring bars.

I don't comment but I just had to after watching this and apparently I am echoing your following but this video was superb in every way: 1. Detailed & Thorough - surprised to see instruction for multiple types of bands 2. Perfectly shot up close with great perspective 3. Pro tips included - the types of things that aren't hard to think of but unless you do this all the time you might not think of them. The only thing I would have loved to see included is what you could use on lieu of a spring bar tool because I don't have one and can imagine that most people don't.

Well done. A lot of obvious things here, but all in all it was a great help. I had a band that needed a change and I was able to quickly remove it and install a new quick-release band.
