Things That Can Help When We’re In Hyper Arousal (Feeling Anxious, Overwhelmed, Panicky or Finding It Hard To Relax) PART 1 ⬇️

When we’re feeling like this it’s important to know that we’re in a SURVIVAL MODE. You’re brain is trying to keep you safe because it thinks you’re under threat. This is called a Flight or Fight response.

There are many things we can do to help our brains to feel safe again.

1. Fidget toys or giving your hands something to play with can help
2. Exercise - get blood flowing all around your brain!
3. Drawing or Writing - writing any word or drawing any image to express how you’re feeling without any judgement
