How to help the planet? Here are 5 easy ways you can do at home.

We’re halfway to doubling pre-industrial CO2 levels and warming the planet by at least 2 degrees Celsius, which could lead to catastrophic, irreversible environmental impacts.

But we can still contribute to helping the planet by reducing food waste, choosing renewable sources of energy, and much more.

Why is nobody talking about the threat of fishing? (And overhunting too, well most people know that)

1:05 here in civilised countries like the AU or UK we have _switches_ on every socket, so that we can _turn off_ appliances individually.

It's funny you guys never talk about the Elefant in the room" Animals Agriculture" it's one of leading causes of green house emissions, deforestation, habitats destruction, water pollution and consumption, and ocean death zones.
Leaving animals food of our plate it's the best single thing everyone can do for the animals, environment and health.

I have bokashi, compost and worm farms at my house, I turn things off on the switch when I'm not using them (ie tv, stove, blender, toaster), I have solar panels (and will be getting more soon), have two water tanks and I don't have a car.

(I am NOT a vegan or vegetarian)
Being a Vegan is the most environmentally friendly thing you can do.... aside from not being on this planet in the first place.

I do almost all of that & also eat no meat or fish. Seaweed can replace nutrients with other foods. Lots more can be done. perhaps see 'Drawdown' edited by Paul Hawken?

You have to jail and execute the top executives of these big ag, big oil, and utility companies. Then shut the plants down, and fund immense amount of money to build green energy systems, and perma culture farming.

What about the oxidative DNA damage and sleep loss from the LED bulb. Often science only factors in what it finds convenient according to the situation. Whatever changes we implement we should have a thorough understanding of their effects lest we cause more harm than good

Wowww... most of those are tiny measures that we can take (and a huge amount of the food waste comes from the stores). He didn't even mention the number one issue. SMH
