I Used the Pixel Watch in India!

The Pixel Watch launched in the US and other countries some time back and ever since it was announced, I have been wanting to try it out because it's Google's first smartwatch, it has the whole Fitbit integration and also, the negative reviews made me curious.

It's not that Google thinks India wouldn't want the Pixel watch. Being a pilot product, Google is focusing on one market while they tune out all the defects. Launching in a new market requires investment in marketing, customs, logistics and training of post sales service teams. They did the same with Pixel 6 which was a major redesign of the Pixel series.

I own this watch and I have to say this, I haven't had any issues in pairing, no issues using Fitbit app and UI still feels smooth enough. I still think it's a bit overpriced but it's still good enough.

Instead of spending money on this I would go with the Garmin Venu SQ2 ... That is entirely for people who loves fitness and it comes with almost identical price segment . Garmin in india is quite underrated as people will either go with the 5-10k watch from noise or will go to premium watch like apple or samsung ... It's like 2 different segments targeting 2 different people More Features = Less Battery and Less Features = More Battery . Garmin takes care of both More Features and More Battery...

Hey Nice video btw....I am using a Fitbit sense first generation and I am quite bit happy with that battery life is highly appreciable and the health metrics and other features are also good...In the early phase of my purchase I came across some connectivity and sync issues but now after 4 months of usage I barely got one...I think in India Fitbit sense is a better option than pixel watch....and I think you also should make a review of this...u will like it..

I think Google should try to innovate and bring their pixel products to India as well with an affordable price point. They would be an interesting option for people who don't want Apple products, samsung products, or products from any other brand rather want to have products with a clean experience. After all, competition drives innovation. So, others brands will also try to provide a cleaner software experience or better ecosystem integration.
One good example of this is Motorola with their smartphones providing clean software experience in smartphones.
This shows that it can be done.
