I love this beautiful film. If only North Somerset Council in the South West of England, UK understood what rewilding actually means. It is not planting trees in inappropriate areas of open green recreation space just because the UK Government handed out funding to councils without guidance on what to do with it. Trees have been planted on an historic green space where trees never existed, directly next to an already thriving woodland. The eco structure there that has survived for hundreds of years, needed no meddlng from a council which does not understand the environment at that location. I truly hope our wonderful deer eat the saplings to naturally remove the mistakes of man who just wanted to tick boxes.
