Thank you for the H109s video. I have the same quad with the same gimbal and I'd be very interested to learn about your connections. There is a brief clip in your video of the plug on the bottom of your quad but I can't really tell what is going on.
I wondered if you know what the pinouts of this plug are and I also wondered if you could do a video with more detail of your gimbal setup.
I would like to change the camera for a Hawkeye 8SE if I can figure out the wiring.
Thank you
Jon

Also I can't see how to get the two front corners of the shell apart if you have any pointers I'd appreciate it.
Thank you

I see you have the standard/low edition H109s. Can you do waypoints with it using the H7000? The Hubsan FB page says you can't. Also, what firmware do you have on the H109S? TIA for the info.

Can you use the X Hubsan app with these mods? Would be nice to do waypoints.

Have you noticed any difference by adding the heat sinks? I put these on mine and also on my H501S but can't really tell if they make a difference or not.

A very useful and informative video! The links are especially helpful.
I recently crashed my H109 into a tree and burned out three ESCs and a bent the shafts on a couple of motors. I shall certainly add heatsinks to all chips when the replacements arrive from China.
The antenna stuff is also very interesting but I'd take a look at Bruce Simpson's videos if I were you.

Changing for higher gain antennae only changes the shape of the electromagnetic envelope. You don't really get any additional gain. Changing the shape of the envelope can cause problems making the system too directional. You may know this already so I hope I'm not causing offence. I have ordered some FatShark circular polarised antennae from Banggood. I'll see how these shape up.
The problem is with stuff ordered from China is that I think it is 'sent by donkey', a very old donkey... It takes ages and my good weather envelope is being eaten away. That's life in Scotland for you. I have subscribed and look forward to your future videos. Thanks. AgentBertram.
