The ending to Afterlife worked. I saw Jason's vision 100% and it wrecked me. I sobbed, like a kid. I'm going through a lot of personal issues in life with loss/getting older/pressure from the world. These guys were my hero's. When I saw ALL them back together, I was all of a sudden a 5 year old kid again. When I needed them the most, they came back. It was a healing process I needed, a good cry. Thank you for this vision, Jason.

To the cast, crew and especially Jason Reitman and the Ramis family:

Thank you for giving us fans the sequel we never thought would happen. Thank you for bringing the original band back together for one last bust. And thank you for giving us fans the opportunity to say goodbye not just to Harold Ramis, but to Dr. Egon Spengler as well. May Egon's legacy live on through Trevor and Phoebe.

Thank you Harold Ramis for the laughs. Until then, see you on the other side.

I 100% knew what was coming and I _still_ teared up when that character showed up on screen. It was beautiful.

Cannot express how thankful I am for Tested and Adam’s series of Afterlife videos. What a cool, insightful, and in-depth set of conversations and a great resource these have all been. The perfect companion to the film. Truly, thank you all!

I watched Afterlife today and the end actually made me cry. I'm by NO means a soft touch! I can't think of another sequel that's done with such love and reverence to the original source material. And you can tell that Harold Ramis is truly missed by his friends and family. I hope they make another as that was a joy to watch. Phoebe was an absolute standout character too!

This is why this movie is so awesome. It's not about showing off technology. It's not about blockbusters. It's about a family, and love for that person. Whether it's the Ghostbusters family love for Egon or the productions love for Harold, who's to say, it's still love. And it's so goddamn heartfelt I'm tearing up again, who keeps cutting those onions???

Harold being in Afterlife and giving us some closure, was beautiful and poignant.

I'm so happy that Jason inherited his dad's film making skills.

I loved the movie, and I think he did a great job making it feel like it was truly part of the original film's world.

This actually has me tearing up more than a bit. The care and love that Jason brought to this in every moment of the description as he talks through his decision making process is astounding, and so much of it brought me right back to the emotions of watching it the first time. This movie was a TRIUMPH.

Watching the film, I felt that it came from a place of love, respect, and family, and watching these videos just cements that. Critics who claim the film is overburdened with fan service missed something, and may be missing something on a deeper level within themselves.

I have got to say this is the nicest most accessible film production I have seen. Jason and Ben are both kind and helpful answering all the fans questions. You guys should be applauded because many other productions put down fans or just refuse to be open and sharing like you.

I don't think I've ever had to try that hard not to cry in a movie theater than with that scene. it was amazing.

This is such a wonderful interview. Thank you, Jason, for making such a wonderful movie, being so respectful Harold/Egon, and taking the time to truly understand the aspects of story, comedy, and filmmaking that made Ghostbusters so beloved. I can't wait to see the future adventures of Phoebe, Podcast, Trevor, and Lucky.

I am blown away that Bob Gunton was Egon Spendler's physical performance, so to speak. It was amazing work and probably the most chill-bump-inducing moment in tv/cinema that I've experienced in some time. You served the fans right, IMO.

@Adam Savages Tested this was truly a love letter to Harold Ramis. He was a huge part of this franchise and one of the founding fathers.
I think Jason did a great job treating Harold with great respect and reverence. Well done Sir! Keep bustin’
