I'm pretty sure that number is wrong, but it's still low, approximately 500 Amur/Siberian Tigers are believed to be in the wild. Poaching and loss of habitat are their enemies. There are groups to foam the forests searching for the poachers and many do get caught, but not all. Sadly this magnificent creature could soon be only in captivity. The biggest cat in the modern world.

Hearing that there is only 54 of them left in the wild broke my heart . We humans have whatever is coming to us . The more I scroll around YouTube the more I realize how cruel and cold some out species is .

Video was edited. In another version, it shows that he ran to the woods, turned back, and went in front of the nose of the helicopter close to the humans because he was angry with them. they cut it at 54 and they omitted at least a minute of the event.

We are in 2023, technology has gone crazy, I believe that instead of such huge and uncomfortable collars, smaller devices can be made to track these animals.
