A classic: If the garment looks frumpy, I'll look frumpy. Well done, Marie-Anne. That sums it up!

Didn't the additon of the belt and trainers change the whole outfit! Absolutely chic and stylish in minutes. Such great ideas. Thank you so much, Marie-Anne.

This shows very well how straight leg jeans are so much more flattering for many figures than tapered skinny jeans and leggings.

Fabulous video Marie Anne! I love your point that if a garment is baggy and shapeless it will make you look frumpy… so true. I do have a cowl neck sweater that has always troubled me but I have kept it because it is comfy. Now I need to let it go to someone else who has not seen this video!

Thank you for the swaps and showing how they work and saying why they work. I appreciate your lessons so much… and fun.

Also, I love your body language change… when you are in the grumpy outfit you take on a grumpy posture… and when you are alerting chic you transform on the inside… in how you deport yourself… as well as looking fab because the clothes are so elegant.

You are the best. I always love your videos. You are down to earth and honest. This combination is almost not possible to find on you tube these days. Keep up the great work.

The cashmere jumper, jeans and sneakers are lovely. The Hope top is hideous 🙂

How you breakdown the frumpy to chic steps are so helpful! Enhoy the quick videos and tips. Thank you Marie Anne for the suggestion to size up in jeans for more comfort and still look modern. Recently I did just that and was so pleased. I was thinking that I might need to tailor for a better fit; (flat bottom) maybe not now. At 75 I still wear jeans; high waisted as you suggested in another one of your fabulous videos with belts. My biggest challege are shoes because of feet issues; most of the time I an in sneakers; occasionally loafers with lots of foot cushioning.

Since I'm retired & have sewed most of my life, I now make all my clothes, so I can choose fabric, & styles that suit my petite frame. I make all my cardigans/jackets as well. Since I live in Canada, all my cardiigans are in cotton fleece & I really try to get natural fibres or at least a blend. I follow a lady in Texas who has a pattern line & she has really taught me well on proportions, etc. You are absolutely right in your videos, loose & oversized is NOT a good look! Thank you for your great teaching!!

Leggings, the thermal variety have a firm place in my wardrobe - and under my trousers. Because it's winter and I feel the cold. 😟

I love watching your vlogs. They’re fashion conscious for women over 60 and also just so funny sometimes.

Another stylishly chic video with great suggestions. Instead of tucking in the sweater completely or just in the front, the edge all around can be rolled up to reveal a hint of a belt. Sometimes, I wear cardigans like that. I like creases in my jeans & cords, so I dry clean them & have the crease put in. I prefer dark wadh, black, white jeans; in summer & fall, light wash jeans. I prefer white leather sneakers because they make the rest of the outfit pop. Instead of sneakers, I wear various types of oxfords, monk shoes (double buckle) & loafers (with/without tassles, penny loafers) or boots with chunky/low heels.
Your outfit is perfect in every way; the tote is a great match.
Happy to see you back! Missed you!!!
