If it's alright, could you tell us how much do studios/known designers charge for a proper Brand Identity today?

With a deluge of 'designers' who, quite frankly, have no sense of identity design, making a 'logo' for as low as $20, it truly baffles me as to the relevance and the effectiveness of a skill seasoned designers gave many years to.

I just want to understand the range of your typical fee for a brand identity.
