Joe Biden LIVE: US President Joe Biden Casts His Early-Voting Ballot | Trump Vs Kamala Harris | N18G

US President Joe Biden will cast his early-voting ballot in the presidential election on Monday, according to the White House. Many Americans can vote in advance of the November 5 polling day.
Biden stood aside earlier this year in the contest after a dismal debate performance against Republican leader Donald Trump, pitting the former US President against Democratic Vice President Kamala Harris.
Biden’s halting performance during the June 27 presidential debate with Trump, where he spoke in a hoarse tone and appeared to fumble while speaking on key issues, was the final nail in the coffin that caused a large number of Democrats to publicly call for Biden’s withdrawal.
Polls show Harris and Trump neck and neck in the battleground states that will decide the next president with just over a week until Election Day. More than 38 million votes have already been cast across the country. CNN’s last nationwide poll showed Trump and Harris tied at 47 per cent among likely voters.
The poll, conducted by telephone October 20-23 among 1,704 registered voters and released on last Friday, had a margin of error of 3.1 percentage points among likely voters and plus or minus 3.2 percentage points among the full sample of registered voters. People agree with Trump on issues like economy, immigration and foreign policy, while Harris holds the edge in women rights and democracy.
Trump has pledged retaliation against rivals as he pushes to fulfill an agenda sidetracked during his previous term by the global pandemic. The former president wants to undertake a mass deportation of migrants who are living in the United States illegally, extend and expand his 2017 tax cuts, greatly increase tariffs and offer more support for fossil fuels and less support for renewable energy.
