Kevin Downing, the lawyer for Donald Trump's ex-campaign chief Paul Manafort, insists "two courts have ruled no evidence of any collusion with any Russians" as he is heckled outside court following a second sentencing hearing. Manafort, who already faced 47 months in prison for tax and bank fraud, was sentenced to an additional 43 months in prison on conspiracy charges.

I recall that Rule 4.1 in Michigan's rules of professional conduct prohibits giving false statements of fact to third persons while in the course of representing a client. Not the same state, but it's pretty much uniform.
