I served on a jury once. We asked for clarification, not because we collectively thought the guy was innocent, but because we wanted to clarify a critical point of discussion. Happens. They just want to give all the facts careful consideration before sending a guy to jail for life. Good on them. NOW, FIND HIM GUILTY, DAMMIT!!!!

Either they're idiots, or don't want to imprison a like-minded individual...

Wow seriously?!!!! If that was my black ass they wouldn't need clarification I would be guilty. But old rich white man they need clarification. OMG.

There are 18 counts. Just because they are asking for a definition of reasonable doubt doesn't mean it pertain to all of the counts. Worked on jury duty before on a case with multiple counts. Being found innocent due to reasonable doubt on one count and guilty on the others was there result. I seriously doubt he will get off on all of them. We will see soon.

The largest loans a particular bank had ever made, to a broke man, following which CEO of said bank begins prepping to be Secretary of the Army.
What's reasonable about that?

Anyone else think that there is something off about this judge? Hes not helpful to the jury, he apologized to the defense attorney for something odd, and he is far too anxious to be done with this case instead of being concerned that justice be done. Odd

The judge has done a good job to cast reasonable doubt to the jury.

JURY :
PLEASE SEND US A CALCULATOR. WE ARE TRYING TO SET HIS PUNISHMENT AND NONE OF US CAN COUNT THAT HIGH.

He might get off because the jury needs a dictionary...

Cliff Richards cited a Judge ". That ten guilty men may go free for the sake of one innocent man"

Man, this judge is really not helpful. He needs to explain in more detail what reasonable doubt means in terms of the law. The people in the jury clearly need it broken down into simpler language and he still makes it completely ambiguous. It's almost like he's purposely trying to confuse them.

I also served on a jury and I wanted to know from the judge what "Reckless endangerment" meant. I had a disagreement over the definition with all the other jurors. When we sent it to the judge for clarification, it turned out I was accurate with my definition and all the other eleven jurors were incorrect. In the end, the defendant had that charge dropped, but he would have been found guilty had the jury NOT bothered to get clarity. This indicates to me that the jury is doing their job and wants to make sure they are is a good sign.

This is why a good education is so important. Educate yourself and you won't look like an idiot in front of the world. How do they not understand the terminology of the case at this point?

Manafort may not be found guilty on ALL charges, but I gurantee he will be found guilty on at least some. The prosecution had alot of solid evidence that the jury just can't ignore.

I bet there are some trumpsters in the jury

I knew it. The jury was not intelligent enough to understand the documents, testimony and the law.
