With the IMF now disbanded and Ethan Hunt (Tom Cruise) out in the cold, a new threat -- called the Syndicate -- soon emerges. The Syndicate is a network of highly skilled operatives who are dedicated to establishing a new world order via an escalating series of terrorist attacks. Faced with what may be the most impossible mission yet, Ethan gathers his team and joins forces with Ilsa Faust (Rebecca Ferguson), a disavowed British agent who may or may not be a member of this deadly rogue nation.

i live for the casting of Rebecca Ferguson as Ilsa Faust. and for the fighting style they developed for the character.
it's just crazy that this was her first ever action scene in a film. and even more impressive that throughout the film she did most of these stunts + fighting herself. never would've guessed, she absolutely killed it.

I love the pole climb thing because it catches you off guard, it's not a huge flashy spectacle like the airplane scene in the beginning or the underwater scene later, but it just makes you double-take and go "wait he did WHAT just now?!" It's low-ley one of the most impressive things he does in the entire series.

I still think Rogue Nation is the best Mission Impossible sequel, period. Yes, Fall Out was good. Yes, Ghost Protocol was a step up from 3. But Rogue Nation was beautifully realized all the way around. And I love the motorcycle chase scene... after that intense underwater cooler scene

Never expected that from their first meeting their minds were so alike that they communicated a lot with just their eyes and some nodding to team up and fight, and glad it is a recurring thing between them in their future scenes
