The only job that was left for the cgi guy was to remove the strap out of Tom😂

"I Don't know what he's going to do next. Go into space probably." - Simon Pegg
Well... Yeah I think you predicted that pretty well, eh?

I've heard it said that if Tom Cruise wasn't an actor, he'd be instead known as the greatest stunt man of his generation.

McQuarrie: So, we need to clean up these shots of Tom Cruise hanging off a plane.

VFX Team: Ugh, we have to match the lighting of the shots of him hanging off a green screen with the background footage of the plane.

McQuarrie: No, just remove the line he’s attached to.

It made just so great this scene, better than if it was with special effects, because it was so real. Tom cruise is the best

Tom Cruise should have gotten an Oscar at this point. The Academy Awards is a joke

I can only imagine how loud and powerful the wind would be at that speed. Like if you've ever been on a motorcycle on the highway, you'll know that even at 75 MPH, the wind noise can be incredibly loud. And if you turn your head to look over your shoulder, it feels like the wind is trying to rip your helmet off. Moving at plane takeoff speeds without anything covering your ears and eyes and only having a couple of holes to hold onto would be such a sensory overload.

This made me realize that tom cruise is the greatest actor of all time. Because this is part of acting and movie making. So fo him to not obly be a great dialoge actor but also be able to do stunts like these makes him the greatest actor of cinematic history

Tom Cruise has giant ballZ. He doesn’t have to do anything. He can get paid millions just to say a few lines because he’s such a great actor, and yet he does his own stunts.. You won’t see actors like him again. Multitalented and courageous.

"he was having fun too, " directly followed by "I'm scared sh*tless" is some underrated comedy

In 1981, 19 year old Tom Cruise walked out on a training course for the movie T.A.P.S. for the comforts of a hotel. It’s almost like he’s spent the last 40 years making up for it.
