50+ PS2 Games test on the new Anbernic RG405M. Most of these titles were requested! Performance wise it's similar with the RP3+, although in some games the RP3+ seems to do better (such as the DQ VIII), and probably vice versa.

Brother, thank you so much for all the hard work that I know went into creating this video. You completely solidified my confidence with choosing the 405m. I mainly want it for N64 and PS1, so after observing just how many PS2 titles the 405m handles I’m sure my preferred consoles will be no issue.

Very well organized video. However I will note, Katamari Damacy is only smooth for first 2-3 levels, after that it has major slow downs as it zooms out and world gets bigger.

Thanks so much for trying out Champions of Norrath. It was very taxing back in the PS2 so I imagined it would be very hard to emulate. I guess it will be a good marker for you in the future to see how much stronger the computing power of these handhelds gets.

This is the video I was looking for. Straight to the point. These consoles are still far from perfect. The budget constraints fight against the full potential. I will pay $500 for Anbernic to get it right and give us the full GC, PS2, PSP, Dream Cast experience.

You should try this console with Gamma Os, the installing process seams easy, and the results are astonishing. I've seen in a YouTube video, somebody with this model and that os running gow well

"Patience Needed" can be tweaked by enabling frame skip and audio sync in settings so it still as smooth as playable but music or sfx doesn't messed up, but "Don't bother" means doesn't matter what you do, the game is unplayable.

Thanks for doing this. Overall would you say the 405 performs better or worse than the RP3+? I realize the chipset is the same but just wondering.
