I've noticed that when an "influencer" like James promotes a certain Korean brand or product, the price skyrockets. After the wave of purchases slow down (maybe months after it's been promoted on various platforms) the price can drop sometimes in half. I've seen it drop as much as 60%. So beware of buying any promoted products right away. In waiting a couple of months, I've seen this price drop especially in cleansers, serums and sunscreens. It's sad for influencers because the commission they are receiving from these companies is jacked onto the price of the product. Eventually no one will buy off the links the influencer is given by the company. Many times it will jump me to another page to order anyway so I'm pretty sure the influencer is not receiving the commission they should be.
