I remember doing the double bounce on a trampoline when I was a kid and I landed straight on my chest on the metal rim around the trampoline 😅 couldn't breathe for like 30 seconds. Surprised I didn't break anything.

My physics teacher once spent a lesson working out how many stacked bouncy balls would be needed in order for the top one to reach escape velocity... I think it turned out to be 10 in the end!

This reminds me, I once recall doing a remarkable TRIPLE bounce on the trampoline! (or at least it seemed as such) I was propelled to such an elevation, that I could grab a branch at the bottom of a nearby tree if I wanted. I picked off a little skinny branch right above my head whilst in the tip of my jump. I came back down with a grand slam, causing the twigs and leaves on the trampoline to launch half the distance I did! While my little brother got launched quarter the distance! My two brothers on the trampoline were sitting in awe at what had just occurred. Even though we did it purposefully to see what would happen.
