Viktor Bout became a member of the LDPR party

Viktor Bout joined the Liberal Democratic Party - he was presented with a party card at a rally dedicated to the 33rd anniversary of the party

Viktor Bout, who was recently released from an American prison and returned to his homeland, became a member of the LDPR party, its leader Leonid Slutsky said. He was handed a ticket at a rally in honor of the 33rd anniversary of the party.

“We are the party of patriots! I am sure that Viktor Bout - a strong-willed and courageous person - will take a worthy
place in it. Welcome to our ranks," Slutsky said.
