Freed Russian Arms Dealer Viktor Bout Joins Ultranationalist Party

Notorious arms dealer Viktor Bout joined Russia’s populist Liberal Democratic Party shortly after being swapped for WNBA star Brittney Griner.
He received the membership card from party leader Leonid Slutsky at the party congress on Monday.
The Liberal Democratic Party is a right-wing populist and ultranationalist political party in Russia. The party was led by Vladimir Zhirinovsky since its inception until his death in April this year.
