Woah, okay so I did not expect this to work because nobody is talking about it. I just downgraded from iOS 18 beta 4 to iOS 17.6 by following exactly what he did. The only problem was that my phone kept disconnecting from my pc. But eventually I got it to work. All my photos are here. My contacts. My accounts. And my apps are downloading as I write this. Don’t be afraid to do this like I was. Because it definitely works. Finally no more battery drain.

you should hit command + s or control + s when you've changed it from 18 to 17 in order to save the changes.

command + s or control + s means save.
command + f or control + f means find.

Does anyone know if it will work with 18.1, I would asume so but curious if anyone has tried it! Also it’s like mega frying my phone battery! So glad I found this!
