How to Downgrade iOS 15 to iOS 14! (Without Losing Data) | Remove & Uninstall iOS 15 Beta to iOS 14.6

With the iOS 15 Public Beta just recently being released, a lot of you guys will be installing it on your main device, despite myself and others saying to avoid that.

Well, if you did it anyways and you're having issues on iOS 15, luckily there is a way to go back to a stable iOS 14 build and uninstall the iOS 15 Beta. And thankfully you can do it without losing any of your data. This video will show you exactly how!

Note: As mentioned in the video, make sure to backup your data via the computer. I said recommended, but it is required to retain your information with this method.

For Windows users:
1. Press win + R
2. Type in %appdata%
3. Go to Apple Computer/MobileSync/Backup
4. Sort by Last Modified to find most recent backup(s)

For Mac, backup files are located in:
~/Library/Application Support/MobileSync/Backup/

I'm not having enough issues to downgrade, but thank you for this video. It's good to have the knowledge. My banking apps still work. Some of my application folders blink every now and then but I reported that to Apple using Feedback application.

Really helpful and clear instructions, watched your tutorial on how to get the IOS 15, but there was too many bugs so I switched back to IOS 14. It was fun trying out IOS 15, but some apps aren't stable enough to run. Thanks for the very informative and helpful tutorial.

DON'T DO IT unless you have an iOS 14 backup. I followed the instructions exactly, everything was going well until the step where you restore your iOS 15 backup after having changed the .plist file. The restore never worked. I tried at least a dozen times and always got the message "iPhone disconnected". And then I realize that I had lost my settings. So I had to reload all apps, re-enter all passwords, find my wallpapers again and so any things I haven't done yet because I don't have the nerve. Conclusion: before you move to iOS 15 make a backup of your iOS 14 and keep it in a safe place. Otherwise better do not attempt to downgrade from 15 to 14.

FOR THE PEOPLE WHO COULDNT FIND THEIR BACKUPS IN THEIR PCS, I GOT A SOLUTION! you press win+r and put %appdata%, you will see alot of folders, but you need to see the top, where it says ur name/ user or the file location, and look for the apple folder and backups should be there. hopefully it works for yall, and i was stressed of loosing all my data so i just looked from file through file and found it there. hopefully it works for y'all :) also i didnt let me restore backup through itunes, so i just reinstalled it.

Now only i downgrade from ios 15 to ios 14.6 in my iPhone 7 Plus thank you for the every steps it was really helpfull but with using windows laptop the backup file location was at a different place it take time to me to search the backup file. im one your subs and every video i will watch after the notifications pops out and tq and keep doing and one of the best youtube channel. from Malaysia.

The easiest way is to put your iPhone in recovery mode, locate your ipsw file by clicking on update while holding shift on windows. NB, dont click on restore, click on update. That's simple! You won't loose any data.

Tutorials like this are useless past the 2 week window that apple stops signing older iOS versions. Most people looking to downgrade are well past this window and as such will not be able to do it via this method.
