How to Manually Level an RV Using A LCI System Instead of Using The Auto Level

How to level your RV manually, using a LCI system. In this video I am going to take you through the steps of how to level your RV and share reasons of why you would want to level your RV manually instead of using the Auto Level System. One of the main reasons I like to manual level my RV is if I am in a un-level campsite that will take my front wheels of the ground, which I do not like, so I will use the manual level to raise the front wheels up a little bit higher to put blocks underneath the tires and then bring the front of the RV back down on top of the blocks.

Thank you for this video. I have been searching for how to manually raise AND lower the jacks and how to raise/lower one side or the other and your video is the first I've found that explains how to do that.

I have had my camper 6 yrs. In the last 2 months all it says is error!!! I HAVE TRIED EVERYTHING, NOTHING WAS WORKING!!! listened to this, went out, first try, worked like a dream. It his video has probably saved me thousands of dollars. No one wants to work on anything. I am positive the repair place would have tried to sell me a new system. So a BIG, THANK

You should be able to push two buttons at the same time for individual jack, like front + left for the front left jack. Works on mine and my friends

Kenny is back! Like I had a double take on the date of the video! Keep it going, I'm sure I can come up with a list of topics/ideas that will help me with my Sightseer, including this new video. Hope you and Sabrina are well and staying safe! Matt

Here I sit and watch my friend.., great video.. I love my levelers, I can use each levelers independently. Of course my coach levels with air or hydraulic. I love it.

You CAN operate individual jacks manually according to the manual. Your system may be different than mine, but they look identical. Here's what it says:
Basic Jack Operation
1. Front Landing gear jacks.
2. Rear leveling jacks.
Landing Gear jacks can be operated any time the system is “ON” but NOT in the “AUTO MODE.” By pushing
the “FRONT” button, both front or landing gear jacks can be extended. By pushing either the “LEFT” or
“RIGHT” button, the individual front jacks can be extended. If the touch panel is put in the “RETRACT” mode,
indicated by the orange illuminated LED next to the “RETRACT” button, the front jacks can be retracted
together by pushing the “FRONT” button or individually by pressing either the “LEFT” or “RIGHT” button.
The rear jacks can only be operated when the touch panel is in the “MANUAL MODE.” Once system is in
“MANUAL MODE, ” pressing the “REAR” button will extend both rear jacks at the same time. To operate
individual rear jacks, press the “LEFT” or “RIGHT” button first, depending on what is needed at the time, then
press the “REAR” button and hold both at the same time.

Thank you Kenny for making this video. I’m an auto manual person but Nancy wants me to be more manual cause people told her it’s easier so now I’ve gotta try it. Say hi to Sabrina

The left and right rear jacks are independently operable by the left and right buttons. The front jacks will "float" up and down when you are leveling side to side with the rear jacks. That is why you need to first raise the front enough so that the front jacks can automatically self adjust up and down independently. For example, if you push the left button (with the front jack not touching) you will see that only the left rear jack moves down.

I dont have auto levelers but blocks. I just go by the old school method, my dad leveler. I like the door idea.

Great video, thank you! I have a 2018 Thor Windsport - my leveling system will not work unless the unit is plugged into shore power. Camping World tells me that's the way it works - doesn't make sense to me. Shouldn't the LCI system work without shore power? When I try to level the way you shoe in your video - I get a low voltage error.. Will appreciate your thoughts.

Absolutely Great Explanation the way anybody else can't do. It took me awhile to find this video and I have used all possible and related keywords. Well we managed to level out our A Class into perfect level. Here is the only question I have. Can we calibrate the LCI now that it is in perfect level? Thank you

My jacks are faster doing it manual too. However, my system is different, apparently. The left and right control only the rear jacks, not the front. So my routine is different, using the left and right on the rear jacks to level things left to right, and when that's done I put the front jacks down, which go down together using the front button, but they adjust independently so the pressure on each front jack is the same. Hopefully, the fronts will extend long enough to level things out front to rear. The front jacks that independently adjust for even pressure prevents twisting the chassis when camping.

I always use manual mode because the auto mode ALWAYS causes the front end to lift up too much.

Hi Sabrina, My daughter is an OBGYN doctor in the Army and is getting out in March. She wants to find a job shop to work in Eastern Iowa till she finds a gig she'd like to do permanently. What shop did you use? Thanks in advance.
