Question luke, what would happen if you bred two different fancy goldfish varieties? for as an example, an oranda and a fantail or a oranda and a ranchu. I would like to see if that would even turn out like, and how the babies would look.

I just got a huge amount of eggs from one of my favorite fish today! What I do, to cut down on water changes, is release the eggs in a fry container with little holes all along the sides and bottom. then put that in a 89gal pool in my basement, so the fry are kept together for easy feeding, but have a huge volume of water for cleaner water. I also have a fish basement! lol I have two 89gal pools, a 40gal, a 60gal, and a few 20gals. Been watching since you had the first goldfish greenhouse at your parents house, can't wait for your new big greenhouse!

Aw man. I can’t bring myself to hand breed my Grade AAA Kirin Ranchus. I pull and push 2000 pound airplane cans. I don’t want to accidentally injure them. I’ll just let them breed naturally in their 27 gallon tote mini pond. And wait a few extra hours until the water gets cloudy, proof the eggs and milt have been released☝️
