Thank you so, so much for talking about the ways in which Americans are fighting back against the current administration. I feel like a lot of people, especially outside the States, don't realize that a lot of us are, in fact, pushing back. The regular media has not been showing our anger.

The Right to Repair story is absolutely amazing! It’s atrocious how wasteful the electronics industry has become, where things are unrepairable and have to be bought new — and not to mention, they purposely make it so that it is IMPOSSIBLE to use electronics (such as cell phones) that are more than a few years old. Seeing people fight back successfully is so heartwarming, especially since EVERY state agreed!

It was so reassuring seeing Americans protest to save the national parks. When I got the news they they were being defunded my heart sank. This list has reaffirmed that humans can do wonderful, fantastic, good things when we get together and help each other.

It brings literal tears to my eyes to see all the strength that the States people are mustering. Being a Canadian, it's hard to see what is happening and feeling like everything is falling apart. But seeing the pushback from the people to continue to protect the environment and their rights makes me feel a little more hope for the continued relationship between the environment and our neighbours.

the news about the State Park Preservation Act actually made me start crying. its heart-breaking seeing more developments spring up every year and knowing that state parks will be protected gives me a lot of hope. thanks for making these <3
