Poor Laura. There's NO Way I would want to live without my son. He is my life. All I heard her say was, "You took my life" and that's EXACTLY what Chad intended to do. He enjoyed inflicting that pain on her sitting around watching her as she tried to save her children's lives. There's no way I could survive this kind of pain mentally.

It’s his last little dig towards his poor wife (and daughter). He spared the Mom’s life so that she will now have to live the rest of her life in torture without her boys. Now, this is his last little dig; by now continuing in being a coward, he wants to recant his admission and plead not guilty; and I promise it’s so that he can watch her squirm and be tortured all over again reliving the gruesome, horrendous nightmare over a year later. He can’t for once do the right thing and plead guilty to skip the trial? He knows he’s going to prison for life either way, but this way, he can get one last little laugh in before going away. I hate him.

This is one of those rare cases where a confession being thrown out means nothing. He obviously did it. We don’t need him to confess. His family watched it happen. Confessing or not confessing is irrelevant in this case.
