No, and they're even more ($150.00) at the school bookstore. One problem is that we're not allowed to use some of those calculators you mentioned. By making the TI-84 the academic standard, they've managed to make them worth more.

The TI-84 is great calculator and it still gets the job done after all these years. However, I don't know why TI still charges around $110.00 on average for this calculator and people are willing to pay that much. For just $40-60 dollars more you can get a brand new color Inspire CX or CX CAS. Also Casio has the 9860G II for thirty dollars cheaper than the 84 and it does the same thing. Or for the same price you can get the color Prism which is definitely more capable. Why the high cost?

How do i see the intersections in degrees for 2 trigonometric functions? Example:
Y1= (Sin(x))-1
Y2= 1.4Cos(1.5X)

It get asked to calculate the third intersection starting from X= 0 in degrees, the answer is 344º, i got the answer, i know, because i got the answer sheet, but how do i do it?
