I got monetized in 60 days. The 4000 WT hours was the hardest. Then, I started working on a digital product to help people more... I burned out immediately. I realized I can't spread my focus too thin. I've put together a plan where I return to my channel soon and finish my digital product with more balance. You need to take care of yourself so this does not happen to you! Balance is key.

I got monetized in 26 days and my first payment was deposited in my bank account today. I must be honest I don’t know how or why it happened. 3 of my first 5 videos have sort of blown up and are pretty amateurish. I was just doing it for fun. I used old pics and vids saved on my iPhone SE. Some were 5 years old. Also edited with CapCut on my iPhone. I retired this year so I guess I now have a new venture. My 91 year old father went into hospice and died one month ago today so I haven’t had a chance to do anymore videos yet. I’ve had a channel for years but didn’t do anything with it. I’m approaching a half million views in the 75 days since my first long form video. Still don’t know how it happened but here I am!

I am over 50 and just started working out at a gym for the first time in my life last year. I went from curling 3lb weights to 25-30lb weights….PATIENCE is everything next to consistency. I have 4 subs and 2 vids rn….I know I’ll have so much more in a year 🤓 I won’t ever quit on myself EVER again and if you are reading this, neither should you 🧡

Took me 3 months to get monetized. My first week being monetized I was generating $70 a day on my shorts content. No long form yet. It's looking like it'll be around $2100 my first month. I'm pushing out 3-4 shorts per week of outdoor related content. It's not easy but I also come from a background of photography and cinematography. Shooting with a Canon C70 and 18-80 lens. Sennheiser 416 mic. I also do it solo. My wife tries to motivate me every day to push harder.

Been posting on YouTube for 2 years now, just about to hit 3k subs, monetized last November. Hopefully the dream will be a reality soon

This information honestly excites me. It's like a blueprint. If you're good with making $60, 000 a year from youtube this video gave you several key action steps to align with. Start with one. Make them milestones. The money is out there. Just takes some strategic effort and patience. 18 months isn't bad. I'm in! At the beginning of this month I decided to go all in with YouTube and just work on posting and learning. I've posted 1 video a day while creating my strategy and plan. I already have a business so I am home all the time. When I am not working with clients I'm creating content like my livelihood depends on it. I'm a nanny for my sister who will have another baby in July. I desire to be the rich auntie.. lol! Honestly, I want to be able to do more for my family. So I said I'm going all in on Youtube. Let's see where I am in 18 months.

My experience so far after having my YouTube Channel for 1 year:

Ad Revenue: $350
Brand Deals: $600
Affiliates: $2400
Coaching Program: $145, 000

Expenses:
Filming Gear: $20, 000
Editing: $18, 000

I made videos for about 7 months then launched a coaching program for real estate agents. I got monitized about 7 months in. I only spend a few hours a week on YouTube. I don't have many subscribers though and haven't posted many videos in the last few months. My goal is to bring in more ad revenue and get more subscribers so I can do this full time! I currently still do real estate and would love to stop and focus more on making much better videos!

I hope all new channels stay strong. Our videos may look terrible in the beginning, but dont forget we are gaining and perfecting a skill. Go easy on yourself 😊. Be proud of each video you put out no matter how it looks. Each one is a step in the right direction.

This journey to create a successful YouTube channel is pretty good. Just need to have consistency. I’m starting to upload videos this month of June 1st and my goal is to be full time by May 16th 2025, few days before my wife’s birthday and my reward is to give her one week vacation in Peru 🎉🎉. I will work to achieve that 😊

Consistency is the 🔑. Started my journey Feb 2024 after I lost my job and making contents to motivate and inspire others. Been slow growth but I won’t give up. Persistence and patience will pay off. Good luck to all creators. Thank you. 🙏

I totally understand the struggle! I've recently dedicated myself to YouTube full-time (started a month ago) and I'm facing a similar challenge. I need to monetize my channel within the next 6 months to support myself, as I don't have any other income sources. It's a daunting task, but seeing others success gives me hope! Keep pushing...

I've been creating content on YouTube for almost a year and have yet to earn my first dollar. I'm currently at 53 videos, 162 subscribers, and nearly 50 watch hours, but I made some errors early on and recently. I reframed it about 2 weeks ago on my channel but I'm now skeptical about whether I messed with the algorithm too much.

A part of me agrees with that year-and-a-half timeline, but I'd like to believe it all comes down to your prior reasons for starting a YouTube channel, positioning it the right way so the algorithm can serve you, being consistent in uploading, and fully studying what you're doing/learning from other people. Having said that, it depends on the time and quality you are putting into creating and learning.

Thank you for your advice and for being one of many lights in this rollercoaster life of a world we live in. I applaud the video where Nolan talked about setting up your YouTube description to get more views and potentially more money. I've made a couple changes to my videos (I've yet to tackle the rest) and my views have gone up!

May God continually bless you and those around you!😃🙏

According to this, I guess this is my job. I always thought of it in reverse; I've been a Professional Organizer (so, consultant) for 23 years. 12 years ago I started my YT channel, 10+ years after I was up and running. 2 years ago I totally abandoned YT because I was too busy to create. I'm ramping it up again now with a lot more focus and clarity. Now my focus is to grow my email list to build the online coaching part of my business. At the height of my channel 5ish years ago, it was SO good for business, resulting in me getting flown around the country to consult. I'm so excited to be back in the game! Your channel is pure gold.

Consistency is 🔑 I have not been consistent. Just getting back to it. I have 5 posts and excited to improve my content and start posting again.

Sean, I’ve been watching you for longer than I can even remember since before I started my channel back in 2017

You’ve been going so hard lately. I can’t help to think that you have to be exhausted.

Or you could be the complete opposite and fired up and I am rooting for you regardless.

Just wanted to drop a thank you note and I hope you take care of yourself because we need you to keep going!!

Leaving the negativity of TikTok and short form content to come here. Just started my channel and it’s so different! Went from 145, 000 followers to less than 200.
I’m not going to stop because I have something great to teach! This is more of a learning platform, so it suits me better.
I’m going to fake it until I make it! Anyone else feel like this?

Just hit 100k subscribers in 5 months using shorts. Got my verification checkmark beside my name. Waiting on the silver play button to arrive in the mail! Thanks Think Media for all the lessons that helped me get to this point!
