Like other people in the comments are saying, I feel like it’s practically impossible to prevent cheating in this format. Someone with no shame is gonna “win” all 20 games with Ipswich, thats how every online competition goes.

Great idea but a couple of questions:
a) How can you ensure that people don't cheat? Of course you can see in-game if the official editor has been used, but FMRTE, cheat engine and whatever other tools will not be shown. Similarly, you cannot know if savescumming is involved as far as I know.
b) While it's a fantastic idea, maybe see if you can add some other qualifiers. For example, have the final score being x1.5 if you succeed with less than 3 transfers, x2 with no transfers etc. You could even add the qualifier with money spent (don't know how loans come into play).

Again, a fantastic idea and SI should have really dove into similar scenarios. Not doing weekly (or even monthly) scenarios is criminal in this day.

I would take part but I'm sure some submissions would be a result of save scumming, can't beat those.
