I’d normally pre order, but there’s no way I’m pre ordering before I see this game. This entire release is just giving the vibe that the game is gonna be crap, those graphics better be an incredible upgrade for this many problems.

The fact they still didn't show us the new match engine with this announcement has only made me concerned about it. Announcing the release day should have been the perfect time to show it off and build hype for it.

I cannot stress this enough - Please do NOT pre-order games, especially those where you have little-to-no idea what you're paying for. If you absolutely must, at least wait for some footage first.

The problem I can see with this "no information, no screenshots, no footage" approach is they have to absolutely knock it out of the park come release day. If it does anything less than blow everyone's socks off, there'll be a lot of angry people accusing of hiding the truth and taking people's money for pre-orders when they knew full well it wasn't ready.

As someone who plays 1000 hours most years, I am seriously thinking of skipping this one.

My thoughts? It's pathetic that I know more about poor Miles' cancelled vacation plans than the "next generation" game they expect me to pay for in two months. Holding back this long leaves me only with the conclusion that the game just doesn't function.

Not really surprising, so much is changing this year that it’ll be much closer to the wire in terms of having stuff finalised. I took the whole Miles cancelling his holiday thing partly as code for “we’ve got everyone working crazy overtime”

Nearly December when the game releases, especially if no early access. That’s almost halfway through the season, releases would need to be brought forward in following years

What a lot of people have not noticed is the player profile page is a pop out of a tile - look top left, you can click an X to close it and the top bar is blurred out
