It’s refreshing to see brands like nikon and fujifilm take and approach to flagships to make them more accessible with versions that are smaller and more affordable as an option along side the top of the line. Also yea I work as a pro photographer and that 24-120 has been my workhorse lens forever back when it was a version on DSLR and now the z version is a ridiculous improvement on that close focus is great with a killer range love it

Definitely a great camera! As a Z6 shooter, always good to see Nikon innovating! I use the Z6 combined with the Ninja Star as an affordable 10-bit full-frame camera, as with the correct HDMI settings it outputs an oversampled 1080p image. The Z8 seems like a good future upgrade for me.

Can you do a battery and card overheating test of 4K 10-bit 4:2:2 at 24fps & 30fps in ProRes and H.265? Want to get an idea of what I’m expecting for recording long-form video interviews.
