"people with more integrity serving lunch in your cafeteria" just a reminder of how Linus perceives and dismisses low income workers as if cafeteria staff aren't people who have integrity. Saying they couldn't have done worse, implying the bar is so low and that's where cafeteria workers stand, people who are unskilled incompetent and dishonest. What utter elitist classist snobbery. It's akin to saying "poor people are worthless idiots".

This whole video is a standard non-apology apology. In something they should have been deadly serious about, they still fucked around and goofed off like a bunch of frat house nerds.

It really calls into question the sincerity and how serious they take the issue.

You can tell Linus is not used to eating humble pie. I think the Gamer's Nexus observations were all quite fair, and accurate. In recent months I have felt the review standards of old have gone out the window and the hardware reviews of Noctua CPU coolers have not reflected my own testing at all. There is clearly a quality control issue, and quantity over quality is never a good thing... I never watched LTT to be entertained, it was always to learn something new or to get a balanced review of something I was considering purchasing.

I get the impression that Linus can be a bit of a bully, and the boys club vibe has certainly spilled over into the company, and not just remained in the videos. Perhaps that is the price of Linus trying to wear too many hats? The consistency of the old LTT videos, which had attention to detail, are sorely missed. I think the employees (including Yvonne) sound measured and reasonable, but Linus is coming across as defensive and unaccepting of clearly well considered criticism. Gamer's Nexus is a small show, but it's consistent and thorough in its reviews. The old trustworthy LTT videos need to come back or the entire LMG might go up in flames...

I've not mentioned the former employee accusation, which has appeared recently, as it's nothing to do with the criticism of the content, and I have not way of knowing if there is any truth in it...

OMG... this video is soooo spot on... It sums up how so much of their video was in poor taste, missed the mark, and YET AGAIN included bad (or in this case, confidential) information!
