That's it. Your game should work now, you just save the ini file after tweaking, start your game and you don't need to do nothing just start it and you should see the improvement of your framerate in game which ought to run at the value that you've set it to in the ini file.

Follow the instructions in the readme file, place 2 files: 'dinput8.dll' and 'id5Tweaker.ini' into your wolfenstein new order (steam) directory and edit the ini file removing the semicolon ----> ; <---- line from the 'id5Tweaker.ini' file towards the end. Set your monitor refresh rate at the end of the line which is: id5Tweaker_SetFpsLimit **, where the ** stands for your monitor refresh rate. Your monitor will need to support a higher framerate than 60Hz, my monitor is for instance 144Hz and therefore I set the line like this, again without the semicolon in the 'id5Tweaker.ini' file in your steam directory:

id5Tweaker_SetFpsLimit 144

That's it. Your game should work now, you just save the ini file after tweaking, start your game and you don't need to do nothing just start it and you should see the improvement of your framerate in game which ought to run at the value that you've set it to in the ini file.

Unlocking FPS is a bad idea because the physics of the game is tied to the frame rate. This is why the game speeds up when you have high FPS. This isn't a bug, it is just a side effect of how the game engine is designed

Sadly, the cutscene audios are broken and drones seem to be unable to fly and they just faze trough the floor which locks me from advancing in the game. I guess I'll just have to experience the pain of 60 fps 😭

Thanks a bunch - worked! But even with additional fixes on game speed - due to the fact the engine is maxed at 60FPS: the fix breaks the physics of the game and some portions will be un-finishable above 60FPS - also applies to the id Tech tweaker mod
