Saw them in central Pennsylvania tonight, it was gorgeous. One of the most beautiful things I’ve ever seen

Actual real way to take better photo's is to buy a phone tripod mount and a tripod and set it up and use the self timer function so you have 2 or 5 seconds after you click the button for the phone to stop wobbling after you touch it, or get the remote control some phones / camera's can use so you don't touch it at all .
Then you can set off a time lapse and get a surreal video of it .
And if you do it this way you can set the self timer for 10 seconds and walk out infront with a glow stick to swirl around and make light pictures as well .
Just set to auto exposure and on the tripod it may be 6 or 8 seconds long that without a tripod would be all wobbly and blurred
Personally i don't like i phones but i do have an old ip6 that i use just for time lapse video's of clouds but have to use a battery pack to keep it running as the battery only lasts 15 mins at best .
