Dope video! Thanks for sharing... I loved Bogota for the things to do, people I met and International food options. I just didn't love the weather. I was there 2 months ...during rain season.. and MAN did it pour!! like I had a military style raincoat and it was super clutch. lol It came in handy haha ... Thanks for the information!

I love the Paisa food, most likely cuz i am just used to it! but it is simple and delicious. I prefer Bogota over Medellin anyday. Medellin has gotten I prefer speaking spanish in a spanish speaking country. i havent heard of the those beans, gonna ask my bf, i have learned how to make colombian frijoles, and the lentils sooo good!

Medellin is way more expensive than Bogota.. Just based on Airbnb prices... I can get better deals in Bogota

I say look at the weather 1st! I am from USA 🇺🇸 I live in Barranquilla it’s hot asf! And dusty your house floors will always be dusty moving because of the heat to Bogota but I love everything else here and I am sad to leave 😢

We are 55 n 60, retired 5 months ago, and are traveling in search of our favorite cool weather retirement city from Mexico to Argentina.
We are currently in Nicaragua in the mountains of Matagalpa. We have been to Bogota years ago and loved it, but it’s too big for us. Oh, and we speak Spanish. After lots of research we think Manizales might be great for us. We’ll get there eventually !
