What a valuable perspective to share!

Having been in a position where my credit was under 600 and no banks would issue me a card, to having 10 cards, personal and business, across multiple banks (and counting!) and a strong credit profile, I will protect that investment in myself by staying responsible.

Nice real story. Earning travel points do not mean anything if you get into credit card debt. Getting into debt basically nullifies any points or perks of a credit card.

Great video papa!! Excellent advice. No one talks much about debt other than "Pay off your cc on time". A lot more to debt than that. It can definitely affect your credit score, etc. Can even affect your health.

I had two condos that I rented out and managed myself but got tired of those unexpected high bills for repairs and other stuff gone bad $$. I sold both properties and I sleep better now. Vende tu casa de Florida. 😁 just keep your primary residence. I luckily didn’t have to use credit cards but it did drain my emergency savings fund significantly at that time. Same thing with cars, just have one. 🤓

I went into Credit Card with Wells Fargo when my job was cutting hours. I was getting charged 50 dollars interest and then 75 dollars. I watch YouTube channels and learn to ask the bank for a loan. I took a loan out for 4, 000. I paid it off and the loan was only 12 dollars interest. I think if someone is new to getting a credit card they should only get one with no annual fee and put small charges on it only.

Many who are new to the game only see the fun and the flash but don’t realize there is real risk if they don’t have discipline or lose track of what they’re doing. I have a personal loan that got my credit debt under control 2 years left! I’ve since built a stealthy 65 credit card profile with a solid credit score and always pay in full monthly. I learned responsible credit habits and treat credit as a tool, I have close to 200K in cl’s I always hover at 1% ha. Credit is a tool and only a tool it’s not a second income or a tool for instant gratification.

Hey Joe this video is so on point and we get these charge cards and spend away like no tomorrow and come back from vacation and reality sets in with the credit card payment due. I’m going through it myself and my Amex platinum card was canceled and working on paying it off and I want to see if you can talk about the card membership agreement from Amex I read it and I think this would be a good video to explain the Amex card membership agreement in full detail and reinstate of card and $25 to reopen account if cancel in the contract.
