I beat Morrowind and got a ring

Lets rate the rewards that protags of TES have recieved from the main quests, ranking them from worst to best.

Keep in mind that:
-I am including Expansions because they are canon to the whole universe
-Spoils of war (items looted from enemy) will not be counted as a reward. Reward is a payment given to our heroes by someone after the main quest has been finished.

Last place:
- The Agent (protagonist of TES 2)
*He got a lot of rewards that arent half bad but due to dragon break he gets all of them at once (even the worst ones including death). Basically he got fame, power, money, he survived the whole thing but at the same time he died and got erased from existence. He changed the most but he gained the least.
Dragon breaks everyone, you cant hate them enough!

Fourth place:
-Eternal champion (protagonist of TES 1)
*After saving the Emperor he got the title and was forced to work for Emperor from now on.
That is it.
His reward is basically a new, forced job. Lets hope that it at least pays good.

Third place:
-Dovahkiin (protagonist of TES 5)
*After beating Alduin he gets a pat on the back and a scream allowing him to summon spectral heroes of the past.
*After beating Harkon he becomes the owner of Castle Volkihar.. If he is a vampire... If not... Pat on the back.
*After almost beating Miraak (Hermaeus Mora steals the kill) the last dragonborn is basically forced into being new champion of daedric tentacle prince of Anime.. And if your protagonist is not into this sort of thing, then he is screwed. Aside of that, nothing.

Second place:
-Nerevarine (protagonist of TES 3)
*After beating Dagoth Ur he got a crappy ring that at that point in time was basically useless.
*After beating Alamexia he got a pat on the back from Azura and Royal Guard Armor from King.. Which is once again not that good at that point in game but at least it looks cool.
*After beating Hircine trials he gets to choose from pretty medicore amulet of strenght/speed or the Best spear in the world. Not bad.

First place:
-Hero of kvatch/Champion of Cyrodill/Divine Crusader/Sheogorath
(Protagonist of TES 4)
*After helping in defeat of Mehrunes Dragon he got the highest known rank in Imperium and cool looking armor (which is overall weak at that point in the game)
*After he defeated Umaril he got himself new rank, pat on the back from ghosts of the past and nine followers that will help him in combat and even if they'll die, new will replace them.
*After beating Jyggalag he basically mantled sheogorath, got his title and rank, obtained the respect of people on the island alongside the entire Island! He also gained a sweet looking clothes (that are useless in combat) and dont forget about the dancers!
These are in game rewards however due to mantling he gained immortality (in canon) and Possibly all of Sheogorath powers.

That's how I see it.
I have decided to not include protagonists from spin offs, because while canon they arent really THAT important to the main branch of this series.

My theory as to why the ring is mediocre: Gods are so out of touch with mortals that they have no sense of scale when it comes to what mortals value. It's like when a kid asks their grandparent for money for a new video game they want, and the grandparent gives them a nickel.

After saving morrowind and all of tamriel from dagoth ur and his blight, you get a shitty 8000 dollar ring. hell, a glass sword is worth more, and I "borrowed" it from some dudes store in ghost gate

If you look closely at the stats, It's really good. Constant effect fatigue and night eye. You'll never deplete your fatigue bar ever again...and some night eye helps in dungeons and seeing better underwater. Especially that ebony mine next to balmora. I'd say that ring is definitely worthy of Nerevar and for defeating Dagoth Ur. The more constant effect items you have, the closer you are to becoming a god.

Finished Morrowind for the first time at a pretty low level, and honestly, that ring was a big crutch. Having a full stamina bar even after sprinting and jumping around really helped me plow through Bloodmoon.

My assumption is that she never figured a mortal would be bold or powerful enough to actually complete the prophecy, so when someone finally did, she was like "Oh ****, uh, okay, OH, here's this uh, thing *throws ring at player* Congratulations!"
