Fun fact: The first time i played Morrowind back in early 2000s i didn't understood a word english, but thankfully there was semi-official translation (technically fan-made, but included on additional CD in the game booklet by the local publisher - that was fairly common practice here back then).


In the subtitles, N'wah was replaced by "Nyga".

If I recall from a old interview the laugh was genuine. As originally the script was supposed to have him be stoic, but everyone liked it so it was kept in. Mind that is going by shoddy recollection so I'm possibly dead wrong. I like to think that was the case though so it adds more to the scene.
