Update - I was finally able to remove the lens cover. This video shows the proper way but it takes more force the first time than one would think.

Don't miss 1 important detail: YOU HAVE TO PULL & TWIST at the same time. For those who can't get it to budge, when you pull & twist it comes off relatively easy. First time I tried with my Hero 6 Black, it didnt require any strength, just a solid grip. If you are wrestling with it you are doing it wrong and possibly damaging it.

If you have the hero 5 you don’t need to remove the lens. It fits perfectly as is

It's horrible. Each time you have to unscrew the GOPRO protective lens. Very bad. Use third-party protective boxes, there is no need to unscrew anything.

Absolutely bloody stupid design. Why dismantle the camera before you can use it? What idiot came up with this? A comment says to use the tool that comes with the nd filter. What nd filter? Perhaps this tool should be included with the super suit?
