Nah. That's even worse than trying to nicely hint that they need to go. It costs you the ice cream. Plus what if you just don't happen to have ice cream? Or worser: what if you have one ice cream but two house pests and they're not together? And worst-est-er, what if they know damn well you want them to leave, they take your ice cream, and set it somewhere it will melt, and then sit in your favorite chair and ask, "Hey, where the remote at?"
