Get Ready For a Technical Workout - Classical Style!

In this video, I'm going to show you how to play an awesome classically inspired etude I wrote for the Technique Builder course over at the TalkingBass website. The course contains 60 etudes covering a variety of different technical hurdles. There are major lines, minor lines, arpeggio based lines, intervallic lines and many more. This particular etude is from the classical section and is a great workout for the fretting hand.

This is amazing just the sort of thing I was looking for to progress. Remembering the sequences took me a while but eventually got there! Although I'd be lying if I said my fingers weren't a little soar by the time I completed it. Cheers mate keep up the good work 😅

I'm less impressed by technical than by sound. This sounds great. Often technical does not sound good. A very sure exception is the intro to Crazy On You by Heart. Its a very difficult piece but sounds beautiful enough to make it worth the effort to learn.
