I'm tryna put up a 75 Samsung now and me being 6ft tall and fairly built, this TV is maxing out my wingspan. Definitely a 2 person job. Won't advise anyone going at it alone.

for those wondering how he picked the TV up so easily once he had it placed on his knee. At 0:30 if you press pause a few times, you can see he moves the corner of the Tv onto the top of his belt and leans back while standing up

How did you lift it out of the box and up onto the mount?

I've watched this several times. My main interest was to see how he lifted and hung it without any help. I have hung 43" TVs by myself without any problem. I now have a 65" TV I need to hang. That's ten inches shorter than the one he's hanging. However, by 65" is about 57" across and I don't think i have the reach for that. I can lift the weight of the TV. Also, mine is a going to be a bit higher than the one in this video. He handled the TV from one end. In the manual, it shows that you are not to grip the TV too firmly as it will break the screen. I really don't see any value in a sped up how-to video, except for mundane points such as screwing in a lag bolt.

I exhausted myself trying to hang a 55” Samsung. And it was only 40 lbs! The problem is that the wall frame doesn’t have an open top rail so I can’t get the two arms to latch by just lifting and plopping the TV onto it. The catch has to be inserted under a decorative cover on to the rail (thanks, Sanus 😑). I gave up after fking with the thing endlessly while standing on top of a step ladder until my arms felt like rubber. Rather than continuing to court disaster, my better senses took hold and I had to get help.

Most people that aren't fit like this guy should not ever try this the way he did it because it will end badly for you!

That's a scary lift because the way you're doing that is working on momentum. So if you miss the mount, you're hosed. All that weight comes crashing down
