I love his first scene, at least I think it’s his first scene I can’t remember, but the bit where he’s at the table and it’s just a silhouette of him is so cool

I love Christoph Waltz's Blofeld...the way he speaks, presents himself, and taunts. I also cannot understand how a group of multimillionaire screenwriters movie producers can screw up such a golden opportunity with such an iconic character by shoehorning in the foster sibling thing.

Blofeld doesn't need a childhood backstory. Where he comes from was better left mysterious. All we needed to know was Bond interefered with Blofeld's goals in CR, so Vesper had to go and the rest of his revenge plot began.

I also think Silva from Skyfall sort of works as a SPECTRE operative because somebody had to be paying for all his computer gear and henchmen. The idea of a presumed dead Mi6 agent having enough money to pay for all the things and people Silva has at his disposal is as much of a stretch as the idea Silva is a SPECTRE operative.

He just happens to be a SPECTRE agent with a serious personal grudge with M...which works in Blofeld's favor because Blofeld wants to make Mi6 look incompetent so they can do away with spies and install C and his Nine Eyes surveillance program. This was one of those retcons I really didn't have a problem with, unlike the "Brofeld" thing, which in the end added almost nothing to the character or story, imo.

I wouldn’t outright call making Blofeld the big bad behind the series’s events lazy, as the first two films explicitly state that there is a grander enemy in the shadows. However I do agree tying him in with Silva in Skyfall was a big stretch. Great video! I actually think Waltz’s Blofeld is underrated personally, even with the Brofeld twist lol

This was one of the most darkest and most memorable guys I’ve ever seen in the bond movie era

Ah, the mastermind who inspired a slew of many iconic villains. He's my all-time favorite villain, alongside Jaws and Goldfinger.

Christoph Waltz's Blofeld was brilliant. I have no critique of it

I have always loved Blofeld...even more since Christoph Waltz played him

I've always viewed Blofeld's actions in spectre and in no time to die as being done out of sheer pettiness. Despite creating a powerful organization and having the means to rule the world if he really wanted to, but he's never shown any interest in actually doing any of that. Even after having his entire organization wiped out in no time to die, he didn't show any signs of concern or distress over it. Instead all that matter to him was to inflict as much pain and suffering to James Bond's life, to which he's already succeeded in doing, and after his death, he still won in a way

Another awesome video, thank you. Can you do Alec Travelyan from Goldeneye and or Francisco Scaramanga from The Man With the Golden Gun?
