The final scene of the movie was absolutely hilarious. I couldn’t believe they absolutely went for it and brought Clooney in as Bruce Wayne. That put a huge smile on my face.

“These scars we have, make us who we are. We’re not meant to go back and fix them… Don’t let your tragedy define you.”- Bruce Wayne

This moment really got to me. 💔

I’m also extremely confused why people are disliking the film. The CGI leaves a lot to be desired but the plot is very unique and creative and the acting especially by Ezra Miller is incredible

This is the first movie in a while that actually made me genuinely laugh, and for that I really enjoyed it

I had no problem with the Christopher Reeve CGI character. I took it as even though the actor has passed, his performance as Superman will live forever. I LOVED the Nicolas Cage/Superman Lives cameo. Got to actually see what we almost got. I cracked up & applauded when George Clooney popped up at the end. I enjoyed this movie very much. Was so happy to see THE Batman Michael Keaton come back.

This was a lot better than I expected. In fact It's one of my favorite DCEU movies along with Aquaman. I've said it before that I've never been a fan of Ezra Miller and I'm still not. But I'll give him credit, he gave a great performance. It was great to see Michael Keaton as Batman again. He's still one of my favorite live action Batman along with Ben Affleck and Robert Pattinson. The visual effects weren't as bad as I had been hearing, but they could have been better. The end when he interacts with his mom in the grocery store was very emotional. Overall it was very entertaining and I would definitely see this again in theaters.

Overall, I very much enjoyed the film. Yes, I have some minor issues with it (though the CGI was not a a problem for me.)

What I didn't like: 1) Young Barry's goofiness got annoying for me, and 2) I found saving falling babies a bit tonally awkward. BUT, those two things aside, I loved almost everything else:

Michael Keaton was incredible. Great nostalgic moments for this long-time 89' Batman fan. Plus, this movie delivered my now-favorite action sequence of Keaton as Batman. I only wish he had more screen time.

Supergirl's character had intrigue, depth, and beauty. They made her a powerhouse and I loved it. So good in fact, that, like Keaton, I would've enjoyed more screen time from Kara.

The emotional undercurrent and closing scene with Barry's mother were expertly written.

Ah, but cherry on top? Seeing Christopher Reeve's Superman on the big screen in 2023 brought a tear to my eye. I'd see it three more times just for that. Fantastic film. I'm sad the DCEU is ending.

I watched it and LOVED IT. Really surprised by how controversial this movie has been to be honest. It was really fun, cgi was bad but it didn't bother me. One of my favorite movies of the year so far, besides across the spiderverse.

I walked out of the theater and was blown away to find out it was 2 and a half hours that movie felt like it was 110 minutes easily

The first act felt like watching a Sami rami spiderman movie, The second act was fantastic and some of the best superhero movie moments, and the third act was damped by the cameos but still great.

Can I call this movie one of the greatest comic book movies ever made? No. But can I call this a very enjoyable comic book film? Yes. I’ve seen it twice in the last twenty six hours, and both times I really enjoyed it. It’s very well paced, the action sequences had a lot of variety and were very well handled, I thought Sasha Calle did very well as Supergirl, the emotional moments were very touching, I love time travel stories, a lot of the humor landed quite well for myself and people at both of my showings, and yes, Ezra Miller gave a great performance as Barry Allen/The Flash. Now, there were certainly plenty of issues with the CGI, secondary Barry grated on me after a while, and because I don’t have nostalgia for Michael Keaton’s Batman films, this movie wasn’t necessarily as special for me as it probably is for a lot of people who grew up on Batman 1989 & Batman Returns. But right now, I think it’s one of the stronger DCEU films that definitely delivered on the majority of what I was looking forward to.

The opening scene reminds me of Superman 78 & Raimi Spider-Man that superhero saving citizens is so much fun to watch back in the day. Nowadays, they're whether too serious or too silly. This is the perfect tone.

I was pretty skeptical about this film but I was pleasantly surprised. Twitter seems to be blindly hating on this movie just because they’re biased against Ezra Miller. The only real complaint I’ve seen are surface level “CGI bad” and most of the people saying that haven’t even seen the movie.

Honestly it’s the opposite of No Way Home for me. A strong first half setting up the personal stakes and reason to travel into the multiverse, with a rushed last half with forced cameos and no stakes by the end of the film. Like really the only negative is that Batman changes again to a different actor and Barry’s dad actually benefits from what happened. Where is the lesson. This compares to NWH with a rushed first half and weak set up to the multiverse. But a very personal last half where Holland goes through an arc and learns his lesson, complimented by cameos. Remember when the sky opened up and ‘they are all coming through’ - well they didn’t show us these cameos instead the flash does the same thing but forces in dead actors like what?! By the end Peter learns from his mistakes/sacrifice and pays for them by no one remembering him and May’s death.
I came out of No Way Home thinking that Peter’s story was the best part complimented by the past characters appearing, I come out of the Flash going Keaton was the best part. A better set up but a way worse pay off.

Why is no one talking about Supergirl! I thought she was brilliant. Hope they use her in future movies

The ending kind of reminds me of what Captain Picard says to Data in an episode of Star Trek The Next Generation when he says *you can do everything right and still lose that's not failure that's just life*. The Flash, Batman and Supergirl do everything they think they need to do to win but still lose because that's the way it was meant to be.

Like you, I found it refreshing that the point of this movie's message with time travel is...some things are just meant to be. You can't change it. So many time travel movies unravel with it being all about preventing something or changing something. X-Men: Days of Future Past even has Beast give a monologue about how maybe time works like a river, and no matter what you do, time just keeps flowing the same way like the current, but the entire point of that film is that they prove that theory wrong. This movie completely leans into that theory, and it was different. I dug it

So much to dig into but I’m currently at the point in the video where you mention the element of surprise with Keaton.
So I’m 30, my sister is 38.
She doesn’t go to the movies or care for the superhero flicks like I do. She hasn’t been to the movies since no way home.
So when she first saw old man Bruce she kept wondering who it was and when she realized it was Keaton, the reaction was incredible. Took her back to her childhood essentially. She looked at me and said “is that really our Batman?” So yeah… element of surprise would’ve been great.

Do you think John Wesley Shipp or Grant Gustin should've had a cameo in the movie. I feel like they could've fit them in perfectly especially with how the 3rd Acts goes.

The movie hooked me as soon as I seen all the diffeent DC and Warner bros logo came up. Unique type of cbm, very fun film. Also Barry going to metropolis and covering that kids eye is one of the best scenes in a comic book film.
